Product & Operations Specialist
Quantum Leben AG is a specialized life insurer headquartered in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. We operate throughout Europe under the freedom of services framework. In the Netherlands, we operate from our service offices in Eindhoven and Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Our focus is on life insurance, income protection solutions, and accident coverage for both businesses and consumers. Our Dutch portfolio includes, among others, Sick Leave (Verzuim), Sickness Benefits Act (Ziektewet), Disability Insurance (AOV), Return to Work (WGA-ERD), and Work and Income Act (WIA). Distribution is exclusively through underwriting agents (Gevolmachtigd Agenten/GA’s) and their network of brokers and insurance intermediaries.
We are looking for a motivated Product & Operations Specialist, based in the Netherlands and focused on the Dutch market. You will play a key role in the day-to-day execution of product governance and operational processes. The position supports internal product management and back-office coordination. Coordinate the execution and documentation of Product Oversight and Governance (POG) activities for the Dutch market, including preparation and follow-up of POG committee meetings.
Document customer segmentations and related POG criteria such as vulnerability and financial literacy.
Support the product development cycle by tracking open issues, managing approval processes, and preparing decision-making documentation.
Monitor legal changes and market developments to ensure products comply with legal and strategic requirements.
Collaborate with actuaries and compliance colleagues to ensure appropriate application of risk profiles, pricing, and governance controls.
Operational Support
Prepare implementation overviews for product launches and changes, including necessary system adjustments, communications, and process setup.
Act as a liaison between internal teams and underwriting agents (GAs) for operational feedback, data quality, and process improvements.
Coordinate updates to GA process manuals, user guides, and training documentation.
Monitor recurring operational tasks such as data validation, practical testing, audits, and data flows.
Support incident management and corrective actions in case of product or operational deviations.
Participate in system testing and configuration reviews for new or modified product functionalities.
Your profile
2–5 years of experience in product management, operations, or a similar role within the insurance sector.
Knowledge of income protection insurance is an advantage.

Accurate, structured, and proactive in managing complex tasks across different teams.
Able to clearly document processes.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and structured documentation templates.
Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
Experience with project-based work and potentially leading or coordinating projects.
What you can expect:
A dynamic and collaborative team within a small, fast-growing insurance company.
Hands-on involvement in product development, operations, and partnerships with underwriting agents (GAs).
A flat organizational structure with room for personal input and continuous improvement.
An international and diverse team with an open and collegial working culture.
