Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of legal documents, contracts, and internal compliance policies.
Support the Legal and Compliance team in monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements (Insurance Supervision Act, Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), GDPR, AML/CFT, etc.).
Conduct legal and regulatory research, with a focus on developments in Liechtenstein and across the European Economic Area (EEA).
Help manage communications and filings with the Financial Market Authority (FMA).
Maintain compliance registers and documentation related to governance, audits, data protection, conflicts of interest, and outsourcing.
Assist with internal and external audits, board and committee meeting documentation, and corporate secretarial tasks.
Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal compliance controls and procedures.
Monitor and document compliance with AML/CFT obligations, including suspicious activity reporting.
Prepare internal compliance reports and support the compilation of regulatory reports and notifications.
Assist with periodic Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Due Diligence processes, including documentation review and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the review and update of internal policies, procedures, and training materials.
Support in conducting compliance training and awareness initiatives for employees.
Participate in international legal and compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
Work closely with business teams, law firms, consultants, and senior legal and compliance professionals on a range of strategic and operational projects.

Your skills and experience
Degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
1–3 years of experience in a legal or compliance function, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a law firm.
Knowledge of Liechtenstein/EU regulatory frameworks relevant to insurance (Insurance Supervision Act, Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), Solvency II, GDPR, AMLD).
Curious, proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Proficiency in both English and German; additional European languages such as Dutch or Italian are a strong asset.
Strong drafting and formatting skills, with an ability to prepare well-structured and accurate legal and compliance documents. Familiarity with relevant legal and compliance tools is an advantage.
