Quantum Leben supports Student Cycling World Championship and Ronald McDonald charity ride

In the coming weeks, two special initiatives are on the agenda at Quantum Leben. Koen de Jong, one of our students at the Quantum Leben Academy, will be competing with Team Netherlands in the Student Cycling World Championship in China. Our colleague François Muilman will be cycling on 27 and 28 June in the fifteenth edition of HomeSport Events, raising money for the Ronald McDonald House together with his team from Delft. As Quantum Leben, we care deeply about our people. We also wholeheartedly embrace moments where an exceptional achievement goes hand in hand with a good cause — and as a company, we are proud to play our part.

Student Cycling World Championship in China

Our work-student Koen has qualified for the Student Cycling World Championship, taking place from 25 to 29 June in China. He will compete as part of Team Netherlands — the highest level a student can reach in his sport.

Koen is a work-student at the Quantum Leben Academy, our programme for ambitious students who combine their studies with hands-on experience in the insurance industry. The fact that he simultaneously competes at world level in his sport shows what becomes possible when you give someone the space to grow — both inside and outside the workplace. Quantum Leben is proud to sponsor Koen and Team NL, and will be following his adventure in China closely.

Cycling for the Ronald McDonald House

On 27 and 28 June, our colleague François will take to the bike for the Ronald McDonald House during the fifteenth edition of HomeSport Events. As part of a team, they will complete a 600 km cycling journey to raise funds for this organisation, which provides parents and families with a home close to the hospital — at the moment they need it most. An initiative that genuinely makes a difference in the daily lives of families with a seriously ill child.
